Thanks for that.........did you ever have a role of the seat fabric ?
It seems this car was sold last year with the fabric - any ideas ?
Cheers Andy

No no Andy... I owned her long ago and the drivers bolster was on the way out then! So if the current owner had sourced it he/she was very lucky ... it was £90 metre back then... IF YOU COULD GET IT. Personally I like it and think the blacked out replacement interiors look drab - especially on a special edition car. Damn would have bought her back if I had known! to my knowledge you need to contact Dave Nunn at Southbound, he got me Pasche when everyone at the club said it was not available ANYWHERE - the best UK source or check out http://www.freisinger-motorsport.de/porsche/uk/ Manfred is a top German restorer and if you trawl this site you will understand why. But he tends to be big on mechanical for parts..... although they do faithfully restore. So brush up on your German and see what happens.... good luck! If you find F324..... and she's up for sale - let me know!

As another Celebration edition owner, I've already been in touch with Southbound, and unfortunately they don't have any of the seat fabric. I have, however, got a lead I'm following up in Germany, that may or may not yield results. I'm in touch with Andy already, he tracked me down via PH, and will share any luck I have with him.

I have a nasty feeling that even if I do find a source for the fabric it'll be a gazillion pounds per metre.

Theres a likely source in Germnay, but it appears that you already have it. I used to sell pinstripe and script fabrics and it wasnt cheap, but you may be in for a pleasant surprise after speaking to ST, who charge like a raging bull!

We could always spend 8944euros between us and buy a 60,000 mile 'Celebration' ....... found For Sale in France !
Perhaps that might prove easier and cheaper.........!!
Not sure our cars are quite worth that much though.....seems very high to me ?

I've emailed offering to buy the passenger seat but no reply yet - wonder why !

Thanks 994man......I have also tried Southbound some 12 - 18 months ago, they seems oblidging but no joy.

unless I am mistaken..... studio trim!!!!!! in the correct colour..... possible that you could dismantle and reconstruct to make a sound interior.
Who knows anyway... spotted it so check out the link.
Regards Rob

Thanks for the note - although this looks very close to the Studio trim, it isn't actually the same.
The Studio Trim is a lighter grey / white and the darker stripes appear in different places on the seats.

Thanks for the thought though.

Still searching - does anyone know where F324 VWK is ??????????

OR

Does anyone know a friendly Policeman who can track the reg number ?!!!!!!!
A Genuine request !

You cant call the DVLA and 'get his details'. That would be illegal and there is only provision for disclosure where the applicant can show good cause. 'He crashed into me and drove off' is good cause, whereas: 'I want to mither him to sell me his car' is not.

Alane - clearly you dont keep tabs on ebay - the car sold for around £2.5k on ebay about a month back - I was in coms with the seller - having owned her some ten years back I rather romantically considered buying her back but BIN was £3.5k which i wasnt prepared to pay given age and mileage - She was pretty much as far north mainland scotland as you can get!! If youre still chasing that roll of material - I think its long gone my friend.

Ive since deleted the ebay listing - she was up to about 155K miles but still appeared in good nick'ish
