anyone got a dog/s and take the dog out with you in the 944?

we have a large rottweiler and he hates to be left on his own, just wondered if anyone has a large breed dog they take with them, do they fit in the back ok?

cheers

Yes - see other post...[:D][:D][:D]

To be honest they're not overly happy in the back of the 944. Even with the rear seat down headroom is not great, and they can't sit up and watch the world go by like in the Legacy. I can't see any problem with a dog in the front seat, though....

lol cant believe I didnt see that, I hadnt looked in that thread as ive done bugger all, all weekend.

if you can get two in there im sure my one will fit (just, as hes nearly 13 stone) [&:]

ahh you have a leggy, I also have an impreza, and can usually be found on scoobynet [:)]

The only other problem I have is lifting them in. I'd hate to see them scratch up the paint as they jump up, but at 23 kilos each it's not bad. I make 13 stone nearer 82 kilos, I might think twice about lifting him up! [:D]

I had one of those but she was a bit big and slowed the car down too much - she wasnt that pretty either so I had to sack her!

ive got to labs the closest they get to my 944 in when theywalk past it to get into my audi

lol

no way they going in my 944

Yep 2 Jack Russells mind you the hair goes everywhere but if you hoover up straight away its not so bad.

Small boy and border collie travel in the back of Beaky. Border collie doesn't like it though. That might have something to do with travelling in the back for a tulip rally on the hottest day of 2007 with a broken A/C. Small boy threw up so I guess the dog did better.

In fairness, on a sunny day it is a bit of a mobile green house in the back so it can't be pleasant.
