Removed my drivers side caliper to free the partially seized caliper, but I have twisted the short piece of pipe from the caliper to the flexible hose.

While it is intact, Im not going to trust it. Anyone know if these are available as a made up spare, or will I have to go to a brake specialist to cut and flare a pipe new for me ?

If I need to get one made up, anyone know the material spec ?

Hi Gary, if you do a search on here, (not sure which sub forum) you'll find a full porsche parts list which will help identify the part number for you.
Alternatively you can also try Pelian parts

Regards

Assuming it is the front caliper, Porsche still list the pipe. Part number 911.355.605.01 @ £19.54 +VAT. Plus a bit of Club discount, of course....

Might save time and trouble.

I did the same thing last year, I took it to a local garage and explained to them I was alittle ham fisted, and they kindly made me a copper replacement, in fact I was so pleased I replaced the entire front end with copper pipes. Good luck.

It is best to coat copper pipes with a little grease/vaseline to give added protection from salt, road dirt etc.

Cheers !, now ordered from Porsche Kendal (and a spare for when I do the other side). Amazing that you can still get new OEM parts for cars this old :)

I looked on the parts PDF and could not see this part listed, how did you find it ?
