Got a couple of new brake pad wear indicators so thought I would fit them this afternoon having given her a good wash, should have known better! I jacked her up went to remove the front nearside wheel and the flippin locking wheel nut slipped! This is the type they are;

The four prongs that fit into the recesses in the nut had started to distort as had the recesses themselves, I checked the other three on the car and they were all heading the same way, so removed them and then it took me an hour to get the bust one off, thanks to a impact driver and a G clamp (don't ask[:)]) any how, I bought these from flea bay a couple of years ago for about £20 and I wondered what type of locking nuts you lads use and would recommend?

Cheers

They look like OEM Porsche, use the same or Mc gaurd (spl) come recommended, some spanner monkey has probably been at them with a windy gun and managed to wreck them. [:mad:]
