Guys and Girls....

On the 13th of March I'll be doing what they said can't be done.... I'm going to RUN 13miles around the Silverstone Circuit. Yes I could very well be f^&king mental but you're only young (  ) once and there are people out there that are very much less fortunate than I and many of you are, so this is my small attempt at making some peace with 'the man'

So C'mon.... give till it HURTS!!!

...and then tell your mates!!

thanks in advance!

A good friend of mine will be doing this, so I can appreciate that it's not the easiest thing to train up for.

Best of luck Lali :).

I still need to raise some more money so CLICK the link.... it'll be cold and probbaly wet or snowy but I'm going to be running my arse for The Childrens Trust.

any help is appreciated!!

Cheers Mark..

C'mon everybody... Every little helps!!....

Quote from the trust...
Anyone who wants to find out how we help disabled children and children with brain injury should look at www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk/tommysappeal. Tommy fell off a balcony on holiday when he was just two years old. He had a severe brain ... See moreinjury. When he came to the Trust he was just so little, but so brave. He learned how to walk again and was seen regularlay in his Superman outfit - a second skin suit which helped support his little body while his muscles grew strong enough to support him again. Read his story on our website, and see what Tommy can do now. By supporting Lali in his racing, you can help us to help more children like Tommy, giving kids a chance at a happy childhood

Almost halfway then[:)], what a brilliant cause, really hope with help from this club you will reach your target Lali!Remember to stretch!![:D]

The beetle will be running the charity logo too and the site is open all year so I'm going to keep shouting!!!

Well the day came and went but the pain is still with me!!!

I completed the course in 2hr 40 mins....

It's an interesting view that you get running/walking the circuit. I had never fully appreciated how steep the dip into Bridge and the climb out of it was, nor the banking at Luffield. The last mile and a bit was the hardest... backwards up hanger straight..and that UP with a capital OWWW!!!

My knees were on fire for most of yesterday and I'm still having trouble going down stairs but I manged to raise a lot of money for a fantastic charity and I thank all of you that have donated.

For those that have still forgotton, dont worry.. the donation age will be open all year and I'll be collecting at the CSCC swing 60's races so if anyone comes along to watch prepare to have the change in your pockets confiscated for good causes!!

Well done Lali,Sounds like a painfull thing to do ouch, but for a great cause.Saw your Orange race beetle today coming along a treat[:)]

Ok so I rased the full £2000 that i wanted for teh run... now the real hard works comes... Im rasining money ALL year for The Childrens Trust....

So its not an excuse to not give!!
