I received the following from Continental Car Tours today advertising the Donar Card GT. We are away that weekend but perhaps other members of R10 might be interested. Contents of the email attached.

"Have you heard about the Donor Card GT on 29th July, based at the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon, Warwickshire?

The Grand Turismo is an un-timed technical drive ˆ perfect for beginners and the more experienced rally driver. This is going to be one of the best one day events on the calendar!

Why not try your hand at a novice rally day, with four events in one!
There will be three different sections of approx. 35 miles each, all starting and finishing at Gaydon, plus two driving tests.

Everything is provided, including rally plates, tulip route book and full instructions on how to drive the jogularity and marked map sections. No previous experience is required and no special equipment is necessary. All you need is a car, a driver and a navigator.

The event is not timed, so there is no pressure. Just come along and have some fun.

Admission to the car museum is inclusive for all car drivers and passengers.
Entry cost is only £85 per car, with all proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Legendary rally driver Paddy Hopkirk will flag off the cars at one minute intervals, and for a small fee, he will autograph your rally plate.

Please see our web site www.continentalcartours.co.uk <http://www.continentalcartours.co.uk> for details and booking form or contact Continental Car Tours on 01304 380244 and pay by credit card.
