Done it at last!!

At last, after years of waiting I've found a 911 I can fit in comfortably and drive - I'm 6"6'

So, I've taken the plunge - the GTR is going and a 9 month old 997 Carrera S Cab arrives this week [:)]

Dealer needs to do a few things to the car (including fitting a paddle steering wheel) so should get it at the end of the week.

Looking forward to meeting Scottish members (and letting Jane see the new car!!)

Congratulations on the new purchase! A 997s is a great car..........and a Cab for those sunny days, even better. Hope you enjoy it as much I do, although, I've not got the topless version!!

Congrats re the new purchase. As a matter of interest, I'm also 6'6" tall and can fit comfortably in and drive a 993S - although mine does not have the electric sunroof.

Good purchase though and years of fun.

It's felt like a very very long week while I've been waiting - but today's the day so (weather permitting) I will be picking up the new car today. [:)]
