Donington Historic Festival - Donington Park, Saturday, Sunday & Monday, 2nd, 3rd and 4th May 2015.

Since its conception 5 years ago Region 8 has organised the PCGB presence at this festival, we have our own large dedicated parking area on the in field at Redgates corner (Sat Nav, N52.831977, W1.383296). Sunday is usually the busiest day with approximately 150 Porsches on show and this year a reserved area within this space will be for the 964 Register for those on the list below.

The infield contains 50 or more car clubs displaying their members cars. A huge amount of other entertainments will be on offer apart from the terrific circuit racing. Our stand will have special displays, refreshments and a warm welcome, you will need to be in a Porsche to park in our area, but always happy to see and refresh members without their cars. There are many hotel and B&B's available locally owing to the airport being close by

With close-fought racing every day, over 400 historic racing cars spanning seven decades, historic rally car and karting action and a "˜living motoring museum' created by dozens of car clubs displays "" plus a host of other attractions "" exhilaration and entertainment is guaranteed, whether you buy a ticket for one, two or all three days! On each day of the Festival gates open at 07.30am and the circuit activity starts at 9.10am, finishing at around 6.30pm.

Members of car clubs registered to attend the event benefit from a two-for-one ticket offer on advance tickets when they quote their unique club code at time of booking (deadline Saturday, April 25th), and, at the time of booking, will be asked to request the number of infield passes they require, allowing them to join the other cars on display in their club's dedicated infield parking area, to create a fantastic exhibit for all spectators to enjoy. Children aged 15 and under (accompanied by an adult) get in for free.

So all 964 owners going on Sunday please let me know so I can reserve a space and as mentioned in PP it is not just for pristine garage queens, although they will be most welcome, but for all 964's in whatever roadworthy condition they are in.
