I see that R8 are again, attending the above event. Last year was a great day out. I trust our Region will be joining them again (if they'll have us of course) How about a convoy on the Sunday as last year. John

Grrrr, this was one on the list of must dos this year having missed it last year and regretted it. Sadly I have just booked a flight to France to visit my Mum that weekend so cannot make it []

Mike

Guess what, guys, I'm not going to France so I can come along on my own, yay, I get to drive there AND back [:)] There'll be a spare seat in the car if anyone needs it (passenger of course, lol).

Don't know if we can make this one yet, but for those that do go have a look in this thread, there are details about ticket offers which is a BOGOF details here.

It also contains the booking code for Silverstone Classic on the BOGOF deal.

Hi John

Spoke to Chris today and we are looking into making up the numbers, we'll have to pick the right time to ask the wives, plus I don't know if we're allowed together, he's a bad influence on me. [:D]

Well done Mark, the price always sounds better when its discounted.

Steve

Worse still if the wives go out together on that day to some exclusive shopping centre with a Harvey Nicks and a blooming House of Fraser or something. Especially when they've been to that talk on diamonds.

Now that would be bad!!!!

At least Michael Jackson hasn't got that to worry about. All it'll cost him is half a ticket, a greasy burger and a few gallons of petrol to keep Lisa well happy.[:D]

Yes Mark. I saw the 2-4-1 ticket offer on R8 Forum but didn't know how to quote the link onto ours. But I don't understand, their 2-4-1 is a pair of tickets, so in effect, you get 4 tickets so I assume if there is only 2 of you going you need to team up with another pair. Is that right? The offer is a pair of £9 day tickets with another pair thrown in (or am I having a "senior" moment?). John

Hi John

I just cut and pasted the code provided PCGBDHF12 into to car club box, and I think its per person not car as Silverstone is,
can you confirm its Sunday we are planning on going down

Steve

Chris and I are going

No idea how it works John, I just came across the information when asking about Silverstone.

nope the offer is for 2 tickets for the price of 1. go to the web site http://www2.seetickets.com/doningtonpark/price.asp?code=597380&userid= and enter to clubs discount code=PCGBDHF12, you will then be taken to the correct page for the ticket deal.

if your struggling doing it on line you can always phone Donington and do it over the phone(although last year there was only one guy in the office who knew about the club deal so i had to phone back when he was in)...your still need the club code though to get the 2 tickets for the price of one deal.

Hi Region 7
Will great to see you at Donington this year.
I have promised (with fingers crossed) the organisers that we will have the biggest car club display in 2012 (as we did last year) and from the enthusiasm so far looks like we could have an even bigger turn out
Happy New Year to you all
Kerry and Tom

Yes, Steve. I think Sunday would be the best day (it was last year). I trust everyone else agrees. Can't remember what time or where we met last year. Can anyone else shed any light?

John

Hi Helen. I have checked the site but you can only order in multiples of 2 x tickets @ £9 each. Does that mean that £9 is the discounted PCGB price. Or do you buy 2 at £18 then get a further 2 free? Cheers, John

John

I'm just booking 2 Sunday tickets at £9.00 + p&p, this comes to about £22.50

which seams about right if the tickets are £18 each

Good luck hope its right, if not I'll just charge Chris the extra [:D]

[:-] £9 is the discounted price per ticket. usual price is £18 each.
guess they are working on the, why make things easy when you can have fun confusing everyone, method..would have been clearer to have said clubs get half price tickets.

Just Booked for Sunday

Just hope that I see some more names

Lets hope for some warmer weather and that Kerry and Tom (R8) save us some good parking spots [:D]

Sounds good to me. Don't be frightened about going on your own Lisa, we will make sure we look after you and see that you are ok!

Chris
