Hi all
I know some of you are meeting up on the Saturday but is anyone going on the Sunday and possibly meeting up en route
Or am I just "Billy No Mates"?

John

Meeting up with R4 at 10am on junction with A1 and A46 at Premier Inn/MacDonalds/KFC roundabout. (see R4 thread)
Does anyone want to meet further north on M18/A1 as I'm coming from Selby direction?

John

We're going to Donington on the Sunday as well. I'll get back to you with regards to a meet up on the way - I'm based near Tadcaster, so maybe it would suit to meet up at somewhere like Ferrybridge services? Although the meet up with R4 is 2 sides of the triangle, it may be better than sitting in 25 miles of 50mph speed cameras on the M1!

Steve

Having sat in that 50 zone on Saturday I wouldn't choose to be in it again. That R4 meet sounds like a good idea and time wise there isn't much in it.

Not going this year. so enjoy it.

Looks like Ferrybridge services is about an hour away so 0900-0915 to meet up then on to A1/A46 meeting point for 10.

Sounds like a good plan we'll aim to be at the car park at Ferrybridge at 9am next Sunday. We'll be in a white Boxster Spyder.

Message to Steve Brown and anyone else who's interested.
Update on Donington requires us to arrive 1/2 hr earlier
So that's Ferrybridge at 0830 and A1/A46 roundabout at 0930

Let me know if update received?

John

Hi John,

Message received and understood! We'll be there for 8.30 (I'll break the news to Ann later [:)] )

Steve

Hi Everyone

It has been confirmed that we are on the inside of Redgates corner as we have been in previousl years.

Just for your info, this is an exact extract from the last email I recieved from the organisers;

"PARKING ON THE STANDS
By now you will, hopefully, have thoroughly got the message from me that Sunday will be full. Packed in fact. For some stands (esp. Porsche Club GB!) it will require considerable logistical skills to get all your members on the space available. Please understand that our hands have been tied this year, and things really will be different for 2015."

This being the case please be patient with Tom and I and the team on Sunday when it comes to parking and expect a degree of inventiveness . As you can see this is out of our hands despite my emails requesting enough space. We have managed this minor problem in previous years so it is nothing new to us. Dunkirk spirit and all that!

The weather looks good for the weekend/bank holiday so we look forward to seeing you all on one day or another

Cheers

Kerry
