Incidentally Herr Hacki, PCGB member and Bar, Damen's car was also white, red and green when our cars raced together in '91........
... I think, I´ve seen it racing, Norisring 1991.
Damen - send me a good email address to A9XXC@aol.com and I'll send it and a couple of others.
Cheers
PS - Mel did those come through ok? I had to try a couple of times and wasn't convinced all was correct!

Hi All
Thanks to Mike for posting some excellent photo's. T'was another great day at Donington but the lack of numbers is a bit worrying in the long term.
I always enjoy driving at Donington but for me the highlight of the day was a passenger ride with the ever-patient Melv. I have not had the pleasure before but both car and driver are very quick and as a bonus Melv is both quick and smooth and I felt very safe even at the very high speeds acheived. Thanks
Ian

Like you Ian I try to go on any club days that are North-ish but this one was announced too late for me. Plans had already been made. However, even with better notice it must be very hard to fill the bigger (and more expensive) circuits like Donington and Oulton with one make of car. So I don't blame the club for concentrating on Goodwood and Castle Combe where filling the day is more guaranteed. On the other hand, I can't help thinking that an up to date on-line booking system would see a much better uptake for club days. Just my 2p.

When I've popped along to CC on PCGB trackday days they have been pretty low on numbers too. Guess the premium price PCGB set relative to CC themselves (and other operators) may make them exclusive aka not very popular. Shame as I would be very happy to support the club if I did not feel I was being ripped off. I know people will argue you get riff-raff at normal trackdays but that has not been my general experience. In any case, anyone making a fool of themselves or endangering others is soon spotted and dealt with.
As for the scond point Steve, how anyone can hope to operate successfully without a proper online presence is beyond me too!
