Donnington race on rennlist

There was something almost surreal about that clip. They seemed all over the place in parts, yet totally under control if that doesn't read too stupidly. The guy in the Red 944t was hanging the tail out and even off the track, yet it didn't seem to worry him at all. Early drifting? What vintage would that clip be from? How stock were those 2.7 Carreras?

1991, and some of those guys are still racing Porsche's today. Andrew S drove in the supercup years I wonder if he is in that clip somewhere?

I recognise many of the names and raced against some of them in the late 90's. The series Became the Porsche Cup in later years.

Regards,
Andrew

Your signiture pic! THAT's where that car looked familiar from. It's dead ringer, looks fantastic in motion on the track. Loved the way the 944s looked. They dip under braking and squat so hard, yet stay flat on the bends and look controllable. I think thats the secret to why they can brake so hard and put so much traction down out of the bends where other 50/50 distribution cars fail.

Great Video - looking forward to getting on the track at Donington again..

I'd have been a bit upset if I was the driver in the black car - seemed like his options were to let Dron crash into him or go off..
