As I am sitting tonight checking out the forum and replying to the odd email or two (an RO'S work is never done) I am very pleased to see that at 7.00pm on a Saturday night we have 18 visitors currently viewing the R3 forum page. It's good to see that this is now starting to be used as a much more effective medium.
Maybe some of you are at last starting to find your way around it, or maybe you're new to the region and just want to see what we are up to currently, if so, welcome! Never the less the region is without doubt on the up and even our regional membership has significantly increased this year.
I wondered if I posted this message on the forum, how many of you would drop a note to the thread. Be an interesting test to see who has mastered the forum and who uses it.
Have a great weekend whatever you choose to do and thanks again for your interest and support in our region.

Greg. Just arrived in Biot, Provence. Three days drive, quite a bit on N roads across France. Left R3 in rain and 6C, now 22C and sunny. Can't think why we came!

Clear the cobwebs showed how much growing interest there is in NE PCGB And it was great to meet new folks. Long may it continue.

See you next month.

Just about to start painting instead of driving my Porsche in the sunshine. [:(][:(]

It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it :ROFLMAO:
...and doing it well they are too!

We've stopped climbing this morning to reply, better late than never! (Greg, I've got an idea for a club night, how about a Die Hard-a-thon!)

Ooh sweet! We could do our own version, now has anyone got a dirty vest?

If you have a look at lynn's Facebook page there is a photo of me in a sweaty vest if that counts! I think we need to decide who will play the bad guy, any volunteers?

Hi Greg
Sorry we didn't get to the meeting last week but we have just returned from driving the North Coast 500 - Inverness westwards to Applecross, then North to Durness, then East to John o' Groats, then South back to Inverness - what a superb drive and scenery beyond imagination - completed round trip of 1289 miles and the old girl didn't miss a beat ! ( the Porsche did well too ! )
Have some great pics and will try to post some if I am able.
If anyone is thinking of doing this drive, we are available for advice and recommendations re accommodation etc.

How about Matthew to be Hans Gruber? Lots of brains not much brawn is needed and I bet he could do a mean German accent!

This is on my hit list for this year Chris, I'd love some info - maybe you could be co-erced into a short presentation. . .

David - if you can tell me in very simple terms how to attach a pic to a post, I can give you something to wet your appetite.

Haha - there's the million dollar question!

You need to host the picture somewhere like photobucket and then copy the direct link from there.
