Be aware of this car, I expect it will be listed on cars and bids or Silverstone Auctions soon. I purchased LF04XSC from a dealer and agreed the car would be recommissioned and serviced prior to collection as the car had only done 69 miles in 4 years. They sent LF04XSC to their appointed Porsche specialist who in carrying out the service work identified an number of expensive defective parts. The car had bad oil and exhaust leaks, seized turbos, corrosion to engine and exhaust parts, dangerous front brakes and inoperative air conditioning. Their director sent me a belittling and arrogant email stating that unless I covered the £6000+ necessary work they were cancelling the sale with no negotiation. Im now in the market for another, ideally not silver or black.

I’m not sure I follow. You bought a car that you requested to be serviced etc before you took delivery. That service turned up a myriad of issues and instead of you rejecting the car, they told you that unless you paid for the issues to be fixed they’ll reject you as a buyer? Ok ??????? You got out of that one easily enough!

Hi Rodney, yes I got out with minimal expense but I spent a lot of time looking for cars. I tried understand the market and also what to look for. I discussed the recommissioning at the negotiating stage and was told they would send it to a well known Porsche Specialist as "the car has to be right”

This car is pretty unique and I wanted to buy it, the items found should have been sorted by the dealer at their expense as the car was not usable or "fit for purpose"

It’s a shame… I really wanted that car as most for sale are black or silver.
