A run out last Thursday with Brian (Scotland's most enthusiastic Cayman Owner?) and his new 718 Cayman S. Wall to wall sunshine and dry, empty roads - nothing better! More photos on the website www.barlow.org.uk

It certainly was a great day Paul. I'm still getting familiarised with the 982 CS and the Porsche Connect Plus technicalities. Best described as a learning curve. Also it's my first PDK Cayman and this new updated version has very effective gear-shift mapping for the flat-four turbo.

So far, my impressions are good. I am gradually becoming used to the new engine sound........audibly no match for the flat-six. However, a much more accessible and broad power delivery already apparent. It's a quick car no denying that. It's just so different to my CR. Only 700 miles up, so early days.
