dooor open when closed

hi all, had top down and went for spin today, forgot how great it felt! anyway, window problem is still present, however what is actually happening is as the door is shut, the window stays slightly down, as if door still a jar. (but actually shut) and the courtasy lights still on, and the auto lock button on the dash board will not work, of course sometimes it all works fine, now first thoughts were micro switches, but now thinking door shut sensors, ideas, location of sensor, etc etc
