door damage / dings

been looking at some 993's and they all seem to have door damage ( ripples) / dings or not sitting flush

Are 993's more prone for some reason than 964's & earlier cars ? Or is this more an indication or city life etc ?

Interestingly our newer Legacy is absolutely peppered with car-park dinks. The older one never suffered.

I asked Subaru. The newer car has, apparently, incredibly thin metal over a strong framework. Thus, it picks up every small dent. The older car was made from very heavy steel, but without the same internal strength. Makes sense, but it still looks awful. [&o]
