Door lock

Ok O clever ones passenger door lock barrel has come loose disconnected ,how does one gain access to the the handle
The door card is removed to gain access to the handle nuts

Thanks but the one by the door pillar is inexcablethrough the hole provided because there is a metal bar in the way
 
Did you get my email Paul? Not sure Bentley was much help - is there an additional door bar in a Targa..?
 
Yes there is quite a hunk of metal right where the accessible
Aim bringing her on Thursday will you be there?
 
Side intrusion bars fitted to coupe models are lower than the door handle, below the latch mechanism. But the targa may have had something higher up to add front impact rigidity lost when the roof was removed, although I can't find any reference to one...
Someone on here must know the answer.

I won't be there Thursday, we'll be half way between Caen and Malcesine[:)]
