Door locking

[FONT=verdana,geneva"]My 997C2 doors will not lock. Pressing the remote operates the flashers but gives the unlocked warning bleep. The driver's door can be manually locked with the key but the passenger door remains unlocked. The automatic locking system operates as normal as the car drives off.

Has anyone experienced this? The dealer suggests a new lock module. Someone suggested disconnecting and reconnecting the battery might reset the system. Any ideas?

Often caused by something not being closed properly like glove box. Try opening and closing all apertures and have another go.
