Hi all any body no if possable to get new keys for my door locks without the original key? is thier any way to do this? the key for them has been lost
i have the ignition key but this will not lock the doors? or will i have to replace the locks
thank you

I have not done this myself but I've seen a few people strip the locks down and play with the tumblers so you can in theory make the ignition key do the door locks. You may need to purchase a couple of odd locks to secure the required tumblers. I think there are 7 per lock and from what I've read if you get 4 or 5 that suit and leave a couple blank you should be good.

Qualified locksmiths can "re-key" house locks to work off one key - I believe they can do it with car locks too. Worth checking into. Not a lot of money - surely cheaper than new locks and they will work with the ignition key....

go buy a couple of golf locks MK1/MK2 strip the tumblers out so you have a few spares, make your locks fit your keys
