Hi all am after any advice please is their anywhere i can get replacement door cards for my 1983 944 lux in black the ones i have are really bad and way past repair so carnt even recover them as its the board thats rotten
any help please its driving me mad trying to find some that are not based in usa

If the board is still intact but soggy it is possible to recover them from that state by carefully drying them using a domestic iron and some cardboard as a pressing medium .
Then buy a small bottle/tin of tissue dope from you local model shop & thoroughly coat the affected areas-using several coats.use
This stiffens the fibreboard back to a usable condition.
Same technique can be used on those nuisance cracks around the holes where the plastic fixing rivets plip in.
 
I repaired the bottom of my original ones using fibreglass. I have since changed them because the window switch aperture was damaged also. could be repaired and I still have them if you are really desperate. As you are in the US though I am sure you can source some second hand replacements. Have you tried the US forums or eBay?
 
thank you for advice and must be way i wrote the post but i am in uk rob but i seem to only find ones on ebay or forums based in usa thank you for your kind offer will try to fix the ones i have now i have an idea of how this may be done
