hi there
can any one tell me if my 2005 boxster s should have the inner door handles illuminated . the holes are there but no l.e.ds like on my 2002 boxster s??
thanks in advance

If you did then you could change the brightness yourself ... but those LEDs should work. Does the one in the roof light work? If it is also dim or off then it maybe possible to increase the brightness, however, you need access to a friendly dealer with a PIWIS.

i asked this too when i first got the car. you can't change the brightness.....but they are there.

the only time i have ever seen them (and the OPC checked and confirmed all was well with them) was on a very very very dark night in the middle of the countryside.

looks good on paper, totally useless in real life. unless of course you live in the countryside and drive around on dark nights.

no .. there just not there full stop .. the holes are there but no lights what so ever .. which i thought was a bit strange !
thanks for the replys anyway though

they should be. but as i said they are really really feeble. i have the same car. there are holes in the handles - the leds aren't in the holes but set back inside the door. probably the reason why they are so bad. honestly, they are really pointless.
