Door Rattle!

Hi. I had a rattle in my drivers door for a few months now so decided to take the door card off and fix this annoying rattle!
I found that there was loads of little black piece an the bottom of the door and few larger ones too.
It turns out to be the stuff stuck to the back of the outer skin of the door, sound deadening? cleaned it all out, no more rattle. Where can you get this from and what size should it be. The door sounds really tinny now when closed!

Paint factors who provide materials for body shops usually stock self adhesive sound deadening material. Or if you try your local accident or body repair shop they may be able to assist.

Rang Porsche OPC in Reading yesterday and the part is only £5.84 with PCGB discount! It's coming from Germany so should be with me end of this week/early next. Can't wait to get rid of the tinny sound of the door. Will put the part No. on here for others .
