I am changing a damaged drivers side door for an undamaged one the only thing i am wary of is the electrics, are the push in connections for the mirrors and windows motors or do i have to cut the wires?
Many thanks
Nick

This is a pic stolen from one of Fens threads, as he took out the wiring loom etc. (hope you don't mind Fen) I would think most would unplug, if you did have to cut anything make a note and mark them (take a photo for reference)
Obviously, Fen having done this is the best person to fill you in.

Actually it isn't done the way you might expect.

The door has wiring going to both top corners, plus to the speaker and the window motor. It all joins and is encased in a single casing from just inside the door - where it then passes out and through a rubber bellows and into the kick panel. From there it continues behind the kick panel and up to the underside of the dash. Only up there does it plug in; to a pair of multi-pin blocks on the underside of the scuttle panel.

So all i need do is unplug everything and pull it through the bellows when i remove the door and then feed through the bellows on the new door?sounds simple enough!!!!!
Anythingelse i should know about removing the door itself?
Thank you

I didn't remove the door, but from the wiring point of view I guess so. I was stripping wiring out of my door because I removed all electrics (apart from the speaker).
