Door speaker feed wire broken!

My drivers side door speakers are not working, I removed the trim panel and by passed the crossover, still no sound. Upon investigation I spotted the brown speaker wire broken between the A post and the door, is this a door off job to rewire? I have just purchased the car and made the mistake of not checking for a tool kit, surprise it doesn't have one can anyone help with a tool kit?.

Thanks Jimmy

, I got the small lucar type loudspeaker connectors from RS components along with some 6mm pvc sleeve, I didn't have brown or black with white trace wire so I have used red and blue. Threaded two wires down the sleeve and threaded the whole lot using a tow wire from iside the car into the door, It passed through the grommets easily with the door shut

I then crimped on the new connectors and added the heat shrink, luckily I had the tool to remove the hollow round connectors from the plastic connector block and new round connectors to put on my new wires. I sprayed the sleeve and grommets with silicone, connected everything up and I now have door speakers!!!. The door trim is a little over complex by modern standards lol but its all back together and I am happy.
I have the bently manual which is ok...is the haynes any good?. Jobs done so far, Tighten the passenger door mirror body to the stub, adjust the internal rear view mirror clip, replace heater blower ( on top of engine), remove and lube both footwell blowers, replace fresh air blower ( and connect the ducting properly!!! its been off before and thrown back on before !!) Jobs left cigar lighter not working and occassional strange noise from rear wheel ( handbrakeshoes?) Off out for a drive now!!!
