door speakers

Hi, guys. I am looking to install door speakers on my 98 boxster. The cables are allready there, but the door panels have been upgraded to boxster s ones with the raised out, built in speaker covers.
Is there supposed to be a cover attached to the door skin to mount the speakers into, as i have nothing. My previous boxster had surface mounted speakers on top of the carpet of the bottom door panels, so not sure how the speakers should be fitted. Any pics would be a great help.

Just what i was after, thanks for that. i will see if i can get some speaker housings from a breakers, would of thought they cost a fortune from an opc.
