Hi guys, i was shutting my door the other day and i noticed it wouldnt shut properly. On close inspection i found this door stop hanging a bit loose and stopping the handle shutting all the way. Has anybody else had this problem and if so how did you fix iti was thinking of superglueing it back on. Anyway heres a pic of it so you know what i mean.

I'd invest in a new one, rather than super glue!

Item 2 - Part number 996.537.623.01 - £0.18 +VAT
Item 3 - Part number 996.537.625.00 - £1.84 +VAT

Edited - pic & both numbers added.

ok thanks for the fast reply. wheres a good place to get them from and are they the same for both the right and left hand doors? also how do they attach?

You can order them from an OPC. Not the sort of thing you would expect them to have in stock, but probably next day delivery.

The workshop manual says "Removal - Pull Off, Installation - Replace". Not too helpful, but it sounds like they push back in place. If the new one doesn't have a split (and I doubt it would), I expect you have to remove the handle, which will be a bit of a pain. You would have to remove the inside door trim and take out the whole handle assembly.
