Door Windows on Cayman R

Hi

Can anyone give me some advice. On the inside of both my door windows I am getting streaking marks from top to bottom on the glass. It seems to be a greasy type substance when when you try to clean it off. I am going to my OPC on Saturday, has anyone else had this problem?

Many Thanks

A&G

I have had it on all my Porsches and have always thought it was due to the interaction between the window glass coating and door window lower seal fit/material (perhaps this is a "they all do that sir")

I never had this problem on my previous Boxster. However. on my current Cayman R, I don't get streaks so much as a small greasey circle, about 1cm diameter on the inside of the door glass after I've wound the window all the down, left it a minute or so and wound it back up again.

yes, I get this too on the Cayman R but not the Cayenne. Told that they're all like that and it's to do with the window seal lubricant (sounds like BS to me)
