21st Jan - Monthly meet

6th Feb - Skittles Evening with Woolbridge Motor Club at SCL - A great evening and we actually won! Raised £70 for Haiti quake fund.

18th Feb - Monthly meet, R26 has been back 5 wonderful years, buffet/talk - Superp event meeting some old friends, raised £79 for air ambulance.

18th Mar - Monthly meet - A tremendous turnout in filthy weather, well done all.

28th March - Pub lunch at St. Peter's Finger, Lytchett Minster

15th Apr - Monthly meet

2nd May - Pub lunch at Bridge House Beaminster - Thanks Mark for your hospitality.

10th May - RNLI visit - Very interesting tour of all the facilities.

20th May - Monthly meet

21st May - 6pm till 9pm - Poole Quay 2010/1 - 151 Porkers, fantastic!

6th June - Visit to Region 15 concour at River Dart - A thoroughly enjoyable day out.

13th June - DORSET R26 - Our 5th Anniversary Family day and
Concours at Lulworth Castle, Dorset - £5.00 p/car
Helpers there by 09.30 please, Concours entrants parked
from 10.30 to 11.30 please. Judging from 12.30

Several classes, including a non-members group
Trade advice on the day will be available from :-

2 - Swissvax UK

Once parked up, the family can enjoy the cars, the Castle and its grounds. For the children there is the Animal Farm
& bouncy castle. Enjoy lunch or a coffee in the The Stable Cafe, or buy a gift in the Courtyard Shop.
Event Proceeds to the Somerset and Dorset Air Ambulance - If you didn't attend, you missed a good one!

17th June - Monthly meet to include BBQ at SCL - Held next door at the new venue, George Albert Hotel, YUMMY!l

27th June - Visit R17 Concours - Another very pleasant day out.

27th June - 12th Annual Charity Classic Car Show
10am - 5pm

15th July - Monthly meet - Several new members attended, which is always good!

16th July - Poole Quay 6.00pm to 9.00pm - Only 55 cars but a quality evening.

18th July - Classics at the castle - 09.30/16.00 - Another great show for us with 15 cars and a tractor!


01st August - BBQ and fun day + informal concours
Starts 12.00 - R26 is supporting this event.
That other club's Southern Region fun day
Anderwood New Forest - Very pleasant day down in the woods with free food by our hosts!

01st August - Park your Porsche at Athelhampton House & Gardens
11am - 4pm £7.50 per car with 2 adults, £9 for other
Enjoy the cafe or bring your picnic
Best Porsche wins a bottle of fizz........

Proceeds in aid of Great Orman Street Hospital
£6.50 per person - EXCELLENT! If you didn't attend, you missed a good one.

19th Aug - Monthly meet

22nd Aug - Charity gathering of classic cars at Sparkford BA22 7JH - Started out a bit murky but turned into another nice day out. 200 cars and 700 people through the gates. Plenty of dosh raised for the Air Ambulance and Help the Heros.


23rd to 25th Aug - Silverstone Classic

30th Aug - Region 16 concour at Castle Combe- Excellent day out with some good motorsport to watch.

5th Sep - Wessex Classic Car Show Bovington - Rain interrupted but the falconry display was a delight!


16th Sep - Monthly meet, AGM and quiz - Changes to RO's and committee. Some very interesting answers to the quiz!

19th Sep - Interesting clue finding scenic drive and pub lunch, leave SCL 11am - 27 members roaming the Somerset countryside, some laughed, some cryed and some took a short cut to the pub!!!!


21st Oct - Monthly meet

23rd Oct - 10:30 at Parc Ferme, Verwood, BH31 6BB - An interesting and informative talk/demo


17th Nov - 997 GTS launch at PCB - Lots of nice cars to look at and terrific hospitality.

18th Nov - Monthly meet - Guest speaker on car paint techniques and products - Thanks to Chris Hak for his informative talk while I wrestled with my laptop to show video clips! Many thanks also to our guests Martin Connelly, Louise Middleton and John Piper from PCB


10th Dec - Christmas Dinner - Supported this year by PCB

16th Dec - Monthly meet - What is it / Where is it? Picture quiz - Some need to get out more!

2011 calendar will be posted as soon as I get back from the French Alps. First event will be the annual skittles match against the Woolbridge Motor Club on 5th March. Lets see if we can beat them on their home turf this year.[:)]
