Pssst...

Don't tell any-one, but there is a lot going on in the Dorset region...

Last nights activity (kept relatively quiet as numbers were limited) was fantastic - a real benefit of being an active member and getting along to the local region meetings.

There is another one coming up before the next monthly meeting - a technical talk at Marque 21, or should I be keeping quiet about that too?

Ooops[;)]

Yep, a brilliant night out. Taking off from Osprey navel base and flying over Portland harbour in a Lynx MK.8 and then trying to land it again![:D] Well some of us managed not to crash, which Alan managed to fail at spectacularly 3 times!![;)]
Many thanks to Gordon for organising this visit to RNAS Yeovilton's flight simulator and engineering school. (you didn't think they would let us play with the real thing, did you?)[:)]

Just a reminder of the Marque 21 visit this Saturday... I dare say Nick has emailed most of us, or is planning to, but for every-one else...

For those that don't know the location:
Marque 21
Unit 20 Dreadnought Trading Estate
Bridport
Dorset
DT6 5BU

12:00 initial meet for tea and coffee
12:30 Technical presentation by Tim O'Dowd (aprrox. 1hr.)

Hopefully see many of you there.

Geoff

I am hoping to get there, is there a convoy going from Dorchester Tesco or is everyone just meeting down there?

No Convoy arranged as yet. But for anybody interested I'll leave Dorchester Tesco filling station area at 11.30am.
