Hi all

I run a much cherished 996 Cab in Guards Red, a really great car, but now having just had its 10th birthday, I was thinking that I would buy it a present ..... A new radio to replace the feeble effort provided by Dr Porsche at its birth. The radio in the car at the moment is a single Din offering linked to CD autochanger. .... I have always lusted after a Double Din Flat screen jobbie ( but have found it difficult to find one that either did not have a twidly knob, or did not look as though it should have been installed in a Vauxhall Nova !!!. Recently I saw a nice looking well specked Kenwood unit that seemed perfect, until that was until I realised that it would soon be obsolete because it would not receive digital radio ( without the addition of something like a Pure Hiighway add on ).... My local supplier has just telephoned me to tell me that within the next two months there is going to be released a Double Din DAB Radio ( plus all the goodies .... i thingy etc and Sat Nav ) they can fit a screen aerial and hence the cars new present ...... this was also a kenwood. .... This might interest others who also like to listen to 5 Live Sports extra >>>>. Image
