Double Din Headunit

Well some of you are going to hate this, but some of you will love it I'm sure! I've ripped out my PCM2 and replaced it with a Pioneer headunit with a 7" screen.

It includes a bluetooth handsfree kit and USB connectivity in the glovebox. Oh and it plays DVDs too!

Sounds great and very pleased!

In my 996 all of the Air Con and Fan control panel is beneath the CD storage area, so unaffected by the double din installation.

My old Boxster used to have the Air Con controls above the single din haed unit. If yours is like that and you want to fit a double din head unit, it is possible to move the air con control panel to the empty storage area under your head unit.
