Drainage Tubes

Can anyone tell me what the four drainage tubes are that exit under the front floor section of a 993? Have some drips on my garage floor from a couple of them - should I worry?

Well, to take you at your word, the four drainage tubes(three are identical and the rear most one is a flat design) fitted in the floor-pan of the luggage compartment (below the spare wheel) are all there to facilitate drainage of water from that area. The design allows fluid to escape but not to enter from that direction unless immersed . technically there shouldn't be any water getting in the luggage area but it's not unheard of. I have even seen a bottle of screen wash or engine oil top up in with the spare wheel and tools leak out and exit the car via those holes and even brake fluid from a leaking pressure switch (only c4 ,turbo and rs models)
The battery vent is inside the left-hand wing and the head lamp vent valves are in the lower corners of the front bumper. the brake fluid overflow is depending weather the car is left or right hand drive also inside the inner wing i believe. fuel filler area drain is adjacent to the left-hand front jacking point. Sunroof drains are in left and right "a" posts adjacent to the jacking points also. heater box and Air con(if fitted) water drain is about central between the front wheels and about in line with the dashboard. Struggling to think of any more drain points at the front.

Thanks everyone for your input. My car is a 97 C4 and the drips on my garage floor look like they could be brake fluid. As per Christian's suggestion could this mean a leaky brake accumulator? Wouldn't I get some warning lights on the dash if the pressurised system was leaking?

I had a problem when I first purchased my Turbo. The Pentosin Fluid Resevoir was leaking through the breather cap and trickling down behind the carpet and cables, pooling in the floor well and seeping out through the drainage rubber plugs. Source of problem was slave cylinder and ultimately the master as well. All changed no problem for the last 4 years. Purchased 4 new drainage plugs and treated very minor cosmetic corrosion with rust inhibitor touch up stick. Could be your problem.
