Dreaded 996 turbo spoiler control issue

I had the spoiler control failure light come up on the dash although the spoiler still worked. Decided to attempt to fix the slightly leaking ram with Lucas Stop leak. All was going well until my little boy decided to press the spoiler button before I had done up the nut to the pump which then pumped the fluid out and one ram up. I have now dropped both rams but cant get either rams to move at all .Any ideas please .

Looking at non-Turbo parts list, then I guess they differ electric mechanism to a hydraulic system on a Turbo. I suspect then you have lost all hydraulic fluid or the rams have lost pressure. If it's a closed system then the fluid needs to be topped up and bled. I found this article, but does not go in to detail https://rennenautohaus.wordpress.com/2009/11/10/996-twin-turbo-spoiler-failure/ I suspect the whole system needs an overhaul with a specialist, if not familiar with hydraulic systems.

You need to replace the leaky ram, it only gets worse. You then need to refill with the correct amount of Pentosin using the correct procedure.
