Hey all, sorry I wasn’t at the recent meet, had non-porsche boring stuff to do....

However, given the last non-affiliated drive was a "success”, how many would be interested in another on [strike]Sunday 4th March [/strike]Saturday 10th March after the meet?

Mike/Sue, am thinking this may take in Kimbolton road!!! And have a pub as a lunch meeting place....

What do you say peeps?!

Hi Drew,

Hope the decorating went ok, and well earned brownie points secured?

Think that is the same day as the spring clubhouse open day. Selfishly, I would want to attend, but already committed to attend the open day as have stuff to collect.

Keep me posted if you change the date, otherwise enjoy, the first one was fab.

Neil

Could quite easily be Saturday the 3rd, foolishly hadn’t checked for calendar clashes, just my own availability!!!

Open to whichever people think is best!

Hi

Saturday 3rd March could be a runner.

Kimbolton is half-way to St Neots. Lovely B road.

On a clear day my Cayman and I R always straining at the leash.

Best

Hi Drew

We’re already signed up for the Club meet too...how about Saturday 11th setting off from Sharnbrook and having an afternoon drive out.

Sue

Trust Sue to organise us delinquents. Good idea Sue, have amended the original post!!! If I can’t attend that day (may have a clash) then you can be the nominated adult [:D]

Hi Drew,

Another drive out would be good if I hadn’t bent my car on the way back on 4th Feb!

Given the 4th March is Clubhouse Open Day, I would agree with Sue that it would be fun to go from (or to?) the R10 Sharnbrook meeting on 10th (not 11th March). Using meeting days was mooted last Saturday.

Have you seen Paul’s email to all members today? That sets out what went on on Saturday, and gives some other diary dates.

Pub of the Month (POTM) will be a weekday evening, to be organised by a volunteer each time...I am taking on February, hoping to go to Elite Bodyshops first where my car is, then just a short drive to a country pub. Date to follow. Dates pencilled for the next couple are 15th March and 17th April. Mike Calvert has kindly agreed to take on the April one, and I will do a separate POTB post as soon as I have done a bit more work.

All the best!

Mark

I hope to be along for this one, Drew, whenever it may be...

Mark - good call going to Elite Bodyshops - they’ll sort your car properly [;)]

Hi Drew

The 10 th Sounds good Joanne and myself would be up for that after the meet

many thanks Howard

Update for eveyone!! Thinking we set out at 1:30 aiming to go towards St Neots and an obligatory cake stop (Sue knows a good place and will confirm in due course).

Rough route is

From Sharnbrook to Riseley Head towards Melchbourne The Deans Shelton Kimbolton Gt Staughton St Neots

And then either own way back or route in reverse? Not a race as we all know and feel free to not follow the suggested route!

Hi Drew

Count Mike and I in...especially if cake is involved 😊

Fingers crossed for a little sunshine.

Will look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.

Sue and Mike

Dear All

just to advise that Betty Bumbles and Poppy’s tea rooms are fully booked so I have provisionally booked us into the Boat House Pub, beside the river. Apologies to those who were looking forward to homemade cakes.

Look forward to seeing you tomorrow,

Sue
