Drive and Lunch

Hello all

Mick Ryan has organised a drive with lunch and tea for Sunday 21/04/2013, can you please circulate and let me know numbers. He has provisionally booked venues for up to 20 people. See attachment.



We will leave Carlisle and travel through Northern Pennines arriving at Nent Hall for Sunday lunch (2 courses £9.95) www.nenthall.com
After lunch the drive continues through the Pennines and into the Dales arriving at Farfield Mill, Sedburgh for a tour of the mill workings and exhibitions before having tea/coffee and cakes in the cafe. www.farfieldmill.org/

Group admission (over 10) to mill is £2.50 pp and tea/coffee with scones or cakes is £3.95 pp.

Total distance approx 150 mile round trip over some fantastic roads.

North Pennines / Western Dales Drive
Sunday 21st April 2013

10.00 Meet at Tesco car park Carlisle (near M6 J 43)
10.30 Depart Tesco drive through Northern Pennines arriving at Nent Hall Hotel for Sunday lunch. Two course lunch £9.95 pp www.nenthall.com
After lunch depart Nent Hall drive over the high Pennines to Middleton in Teesdale, on to Brough, then Kirby Stephen and Sedburgh where we will visit Farfield Mill www.farfieldmill.org/
15.00 Here we will tour the mill workings and exhibition before having tea / coffee and cakes in the cafe at 16.00.
Discounted group entry to mill (over 10) £2.50 pp and tea / cakes £3.95 pp.
After tea we can either make our own way home or continue back to Carlisle via Tebay and Appleby. Total distance approx 150 miles
The route uses excellent roads allowing a "sporting drive" and weather permitting fantastic views and scenery of the Pennines and Howgills.
