Drive belts

Evening all,

What's involved in changing the drive belts on the S2? I know the alternator belt has seen better days, and am keen to change it before it goes. What's involved and is it easy to change the other belts too?

Thanks,
Justin.

If your the kind of person who would not want to rebuild their own engine, I would probably recommend getting it done by a pro.

As a rule of thumb..... change the belts every 40k, the waterpump, rollers and tensioners (and oil seals) every 80k.

All the best

Oh... if its just the alternator, power steering belts, then go for it.

I think even my 20 week old puppy could do those )

Sorry for that, I thought you were talking about the main belts!

All the best
