Thanks

I posted previously asking whether the RS came with any kind of immobliser and the answer was no.

Do you reckon that I can now tell my insurance company that its got one or are you guessing Desmond.

In my experience insurers ,in my case RSA wont accept the bloc system alone ,have had to add Thatcham one kit which can be 'combined' ..............over a given fig valuation tracker as well. The bloc sytem ,i think, is part of the engine management its definitely in that kit under the seat and ur average crook finds it damned hard to crack similarly be very careful who u let fiddle with it its only for those who know!

Lee confirmed Immobiliser other part of your question, was it standard? I think not definitely no alarm, thus you would need a combined Thatcham Cat 1approved alarm/immobiliser...Porsche PA 2000 comes to mind as fitted by your friendly OPC...also just whip out the electric cut off switch and hang it round your neck with the Gold Nugget Medallion....as a good Essex Boy. See you tomorrow night at KENT REGION CLUB NIGHT and bring the RS, leave that mamsy pamsy Viper at home.

I'll be there but I was thinking of bringing the E55 Estate with its two superchargers and 500 brake. But then I don't really want to leave you standing and embarrass you in front of your friends.

I'll bring the Porch
