Throughout the summer the Cotswold Region is organising informal 'Drive n dines'. The first one is scheduled for Sunday 19th May; 12:00 for 12:30 at the Carpenters Arms in Fulbrook, on the A361 just north of Burford. http://www.carpentersarmsfulbrook.com/.

The Route? Whatever takes your fancy!

The Car? A Porsche!

The Food? A Burger???

Derek There are other forms of food apart from Burgers!!

Derek Sharps new title.. BURGERMIESTER.

Silly me... you are absolutely right Geoff, there are:

1. Hamburgers
2. Beefburgers
3. Venisonburgers

Not sure about Big Macs though [:D]

Derek, I can recommend the 'Roe Deer' cheeseburger at the Swan @ Swinbrook (just off the A40 after Burford) [:)]

Just to remind everyone of our plans for tomorrow (Sunday). If you have nothing better to do, wish to be grossly insulted, have you precious Porsche poured scorn over (unless it is a yellow Boxster), sample terrible food and drink corked wine, then the p[lave for you is the Carpenter Arms at Fulbrook, on the A361 just north of Burford. http://www.carpentersarmsfulbrook.com/.

Don't expect me to buy you a beer or Geoff to be polite.[:D]

Not a bad drive out & dine. Possibly spoilt by some idiot arriving in a white van when the rest of the region arrived in shiny clean Porsches. He also went on to moan that the hostelry were not serving burgers on a Sunday.

Still, the rest of the team had a great time, even though Geoff fell for all the old tricks from the resident magician.

Acording to Derek (white van man) all food except Burgers are terrible. If you only drink larger hopw can you make informed comments about the wine?
As for the yellow Boxster ... It wasn't even there. However we did make Derek park his white van away from us.

Dereks latest avatar should read... Burger eating, white van driving, larger lout.[;)][:D]

How rude! I'm an officer and a gentleman and most certainly don't eat burgers or drink larger [:)]

Mind you, I parked my shiny new Audi some distance from Geoff's shed on wheels... Did not wish to catch anything.
