We will be having a drive to The Rose and Crown at Sutton on the Forest, north of York, this coming Sunday, 12th October for Sunday lunch.

We have make a booking for up to 20 people on a first come first served basis so if you would like to join us, please post here or e-mail me at r7@porscheclubgb.com.

Prices range from £4 to £8 for starters and £11 to £15 for mains. If you want a copy of the menu please let me know. I need to give final numbers to the Rose and Crown on Friday so please let me know by Thursday latest if you plan to come along.

We plan to arrive at the pub around 12.30 and eat around 1.00. I thought we could meet at Wetherby services on the A1 between 11.00 and 11.30 and have a scenic drive through Aldwark, Tollerton and Alne before arriving at Sutton on the Forest. Alternatively, if you want to make your own way there we will see you at 12.30.

Afterwards you could visit historic York or, for the shoppers amongst you, the designer outlet just off the A64 on the south side of the city.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

Ian and Sharon

We've been saving up, so if there's still places available Jane & I would like to come along.
Looking forward to re-visiting the speed humps at Wetherby Services.

See you Sunday.

Paul.

Thank you Ian and Sharon for organising the lunch, great driving day - we thoroughly enjoyed catching up with all the news.

Yes - really good run out - just sorry couldn't stay for lunch and that I missed John and Rita.

Thanks to all esp. Doug and Marlies for the excellent navigation and trailblazing - sun, the noise of aircooled engines, lovely roads - close to heaven!

Andrew W.

P.S. anyone doing big breakfast next Sun/
