Drive out & Dine

Hi Folks.
You will see in Porsche Post , January issue, that, owing to the Merrymouth being closed, we will not have a normal meeting in January.

At the last meeting we decided to have a drive out on Sunday January 10th to the fabulous Bibury Court Hotel near Cirencester. The idea is to go to this magnificent venue for Lunch
Derek Sharp has done most of the ground work for this including very special rates and exclusive use of their newly refurbished restaurant.
This will be for members and guest booking through us and you need to send an email to r31@porscheclubgb.com or phone us on 01865 880626. Space is limited so it is a good idea to book early.

Menu"¦ 3 Courses £17 plus a discretionary service charge of 10%

Wild mushroom soup or Tomato Soup

Garden thyme Chantilly
Roast chicken, roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, bread sauce and gravy

Glazed bread and butter pudding,
Seville orange marmalade ice cream

To get this price we have agreed to a set menu and that one person will collect the money and pay the bill so cash or cheque on the day please.

Hi Geoff,

Of course Pim & I will be there. Note folks that Bibury is considered one of the most attractive villages in UK so if you wish to walk off the lunch the wander round the NT village will be well worth it. If you are peckish after your walk (unlikely after that lunch) they serve a very good afternoon tea in their lounge in front of a blazing log fire.

We will have exclusive use of the front on the House for parking and a photohoot.

If anyone is unfamiliar with this part of the Cotswolds and fancies a pretty drive, let me know. The Coln Valley is spectacular, but don't expect to go fast!
