Mike Wildgoose, the landlord of the George Hotel, Leadenham (on the A17 Newark to Sleaford) will be pleased to see us on the evening of Wednesday, 20th June.
In the restaurant there is a PCGB plaque that was given to them by the club in the past, There is a large car park, they sell Real Ale amd there is a bar snack / restaurant menu. There is also an outside seating area to enjoy summer evenings.
If you haven't been in The George before, it has probably the best collection of Malt Whisky in the country on display and it's available to drink if you want. The Brandy collection is not bad either.
Hope to see you there - there should be plenty of light for you to cross the county.

Keith

Hi, Just back from the Emerald Isle Tour with R25, Kent Region. First visit to Ireland and we had a great time. Peter Aston, 1988 Silver 911 Turbo spinner at Blyton, was on the trip. Who's for a drive out to the George next wekk, on Wednwsday 20th June? Keith 1996 911 Targa, type 993 (varioram and manual) 1988 944 Turbo S (gone but will never be forgotten)

Hi Kieith, As this venue is almost in the south of the region I shall be along to keep you company, all being well. Were you driving the 944 turbo at Blyton? All the best, Mick

Sorry I will not be able to make it on Wed, I am working on the military Tattoo prep for the weekend. Keith, hope your happy with the 993? Look forward to seeing it soon. Gavin

Hi Mick, Yes, I was at Blyton in the 944 Turbo S and I remember your distinctive green 964. You can view the 944 on the Paul-Stephens.com website. It's in good company, particularly a 993 Turbo S. My wife's comment on seeing this was "how much?" and she's neither from Yorkshire nor is she from farming stock. See you at the George. Keith
