Drive shaft seals

Just a reminder. Have your drive shaft seals checked regularly, it´s expensive when the shafts run dry due to broken seals and all the grease coming out.

I have it done on my car from time to time and this time -again- had to replace some seals.

Hi, I'll be changing my driveshaft boots next week and will post a "how to do it" with pics on the non RS 964 forum when the jobs done if anyone is interested, it's not quite as straight forward as you might think, though not a difficult job. There's an easy way, removing the inner mounting, thats the way I intend to do it, will be replacing both boots on one driveshaft using this method.




 
Thanks Hacki - good tip - will be on to this one, with Damen's G'box oil change.

Oh link to DIY appreciated too, some of us like to get our hands dirty. I never feel you really own a car, until you've taken it apart and put it back together together again.
