Monday is the 42nd birthday of the 911 (originally launched as the 901 on 12th September 1963 at the Frankfurt Motor Show).

It's become a bit of a traditional to salute this monumental occasion by . . . strange though this might seem . . . .driving your 911.

Last year the register met up at Duxford . . . this year due to other commitments, organising something hasn't been possible. However if anyone's in or around Norfolk, and fancy's a pint on Sunday perhaps . . . drop my a line - early_911@hotmail.com.

Soooo...is anyone going to be out cruising around west London in their 911 tomorrow? Is there a meet somewhere I have overlooked?

It's parked outside in the Crewe sunshine!! Not often you hear the words 'Crewe' and 'sunshine' in the same sentence..[;)]
