This Sunday will be the 101st anniversary of the birth of Ferry Porsche. It is a day when you should celebrate the Porsche 911 as one of the most amazing cars ever designed and made. As with previous years, the 19th September is "Drive Your 911 Day" enjoy it.

Yep ! Will be whispering down the A12 to Brands to watch a few 911's give the red cars a hiding.

It does, anything done with your 911 on that day is good as long as you enjoy it.

I went for a drive round the block to reduce the fuel level in the tank then I started to remove the fuel hoses to replace them all as they have been severely attacked by many gallons of French 95E10 fuel during my recent drive round France. The E10 is a 10 percent addition of Ethanol as a renewable fuel, unfortunately the Ethyl Alcohol attacks older fuel hoses by slowly dissolving them causing fuel leaks. As if the fuel consumption wasn't bad enough without it leaking away as well!

Beware older car owners the fuel will probably come to UK sometime in the future.
