Just a quick note to post that I received excellent service from Drivers fitting new tyres at v. short notice for my trip to Spa, usual disclaimers etc.
The manager George is keen to build up business with PCGB members and while he is upfront that he cannot compete in price with some of the lower cost companies it is reassuring to know that the care and attention given to routine and complex tasks is in my opinion superb.
 
+1, I've used them a few times on audio related stuff and George and his staff are just great - really know how to treat our types of car
 
I prefer to take my car to a Porsche specialist, but Drivers are nice guys and always up front about not being able to compete on price. I take our company cars there for all sorts of work and am perfectly happy with them.
 
used drivers a lot years ago when george still had his CRX and i remember him taking delivery of his VR6.
last time i saw them (i moved away from the area) was the first scottish sound off where my golf came 2nd to rick pounds granada............ that must be 15 years ago or possibly longer
 
They certainly did a great job for me, swapping tyres onto the colour-coded wheels and fitting the intermediates onto the originals, with not a mark on the blue rims, which I'd been worried about. They even inflated with nitrogen at no extra charge! Perhaps not the cheapest, as others have said, but excellent service.
