drivers headlight keeps going out blowing

hi everyone my drivers headlight keeps blowing obivious its shorting or something just had water get in the back passengerside from a block drain could that be the prob any info would be much appreciated cheers i have a 2000 911 996 c2 carrera thanks people
 
Are you sure the bulb has blown? The headlight connector in the wing is notorious for popping out of the mounting bracket, causing a bad connection. I would check the bulb with a continuity tester, and then check the connector. The other possible cause is the main light switch, which can be problematic, but I would have thought it would affect both headlights.

If the bulb has blown, I can only think you got unlucky and got a duff bulb.
