Has anyone else come across this new E-mag at all?

It has its detractors, but then on Pistonheads you can find a detractor for pretty much anything [8|], so i decided to have a look for myself.

I really like it, especially the way that the big articles are presented as in paper form with pages that 'turn' over but incorporate video clips amongst the pics and words. The Pikes Peak article by Dickie Meaden is especially good, imho.

The founders appear to be some of the best car journalist - half from Evo mag and Chris Harris from Autocar. All are confirmed petrolheads (Meaden has a 964RS and Harris has that Viper green ST/RSR rep) and Porsche fans.

No affiliation at all and as a devoted Evo subscriber, was sorry to see them leave that publication but this does look like an interesting development of the traditional car mag into something more interactive?

Anyhow, make your own minds up.....[:)]

I have had a look at a few times, I like the writers and I generally think it is good. However It does not work for
me as it is not the way I want to get my motoring information. One of the joys of a magazine is being able to read it whilst sitting in the throne room, I think my missus will get suspicious if I disapear into said room with my lap top[;)]

With you on that one Peter as with a 4yr old daugher, pretty much the only car mag time I get is when in the 'throne' room...[:D]

I do also enjoy the tactile experience of reading a magazine - still get a buzz of anticipation when the new subscription copy of Evo drops through the letterbox....[8|][:)]
