Drivers Seat Removal

The seat is fixed by M10 x 28 Torx bolts at the front and back. The back ones you can see with the seat forward on the runners (may be covered over on the 996 series?), the front ones are hidden under a plastic cover which slides off the front of the runner (I think there is a clip which you need to ease sideways with a flat screwdriver to do so).
Under the seat is a connector for the Power back and seatbelt warning light. When I replaced the Sport Seats in the Boxster with GT3 seats I had to disassemble this so that I could get the seatbelt warning light to work correctly. (Just use the seatbelt part for the new seat).
The connector unclips by sliding the cover sideways and then seperating the parts - it took me ages to discover this!
When you put the new seat in the tightening torque for the seat rail Torx srews is 65 Nm (48 ftlb)
If you are at Sussex next Tuesday (or at the AGM on Sunday) I can provide you with more info (although I think I've covered it all here)
