Drivers side foot-well - wetter, not better....

Hi All,

This weeks challenge, torrential rain accepted, but am now suffering from driver's foot-well water ingress for the first time on my 98 C2.

It seems to be coming down the back of the dashboard (yikes!), drivers side, then dripping down into the footwell in the vicinity of the fusepanel - I say dripping down as the side sections of the footwell carpet are dry, so it doesn't seem to be running down the sides of the cockpit, - really its just getting slightly (but noticeably) wet in that short corner section of the floorpan between the fuse panel and the accelerator.

Have read the other recent threads, but doubt it is the door seal or wing mirrors as the carpet is generally dry around the door.

Any guidance from the floor gratefully accepted.

Thanks!

Hmm, down came the rain and in came the water again. [:(]

Most of the drains seem to be clear, water can be seen flowing out of the bottom of the car - I've heard a nasty rumour the windscreen seal can be the culprit.

I recently had new wiper arms fitted, and I didn't (noticeably) have the problem before that - I'm just wondering if something came loose whilst they were wrestling the old ones off?

Any more thoughts please?
